Dear Sisters and Brothers,
As we gather to celebrate Easter in the radiant light of our risen Lord, Jesus Christ, I extend to you warm greetings and heartfelt blessings. May this Easter season fill your hearts with joy, hope, and renewed faith in the miracle of Christ’s resurrection.
Easter is a time of profound significance, a time when we are called to embrace the promise of new life and redemption offered to us through Jesus’ sacrificial love. It is a reminder that through His death and resurrection, we are granted the grace to journey towards Eternal Life, embracing the transformative power of His grace and mercy.
In the spirit of renewal, I am pleased to share with you some updates on the ongoing efforts to uphold and enhance our beloved parish of Saint Benedict the Moor. Together, we are devoted stewards of this sacred space, ensuring that it continues to stand as a beacon of our Catholic faith for generations to come.
Over the past year, there have been several maintenance projects undertaken within our parish community. These include the renovation of the rectory, the addition of handrails on the altar for safety, the installation of a new gate opener for convenience, and the replacement of ceiling tiles to maintain the integrity of our worship space. These endeavors are essential in preserving the beauty and functionality of our church, allowing us to continue our sacred mission with renewed vigor.
Looking ahead, one significant renovation project on our horizon is the repair and revitalization of the Imperial and Quander Rooms to restore them to their former glory. These spaces hold great potential for serving our parish community and fostering fellowship among our members, and we are excited to see this vision come to fruition.
As we anticipate the joyous celebrations and spiritual gatherings in the weeks and months ahead, I encourage each of you to remain steadfast in your faith and commitment to our parish family. Your presence, prayers, and contributions are invaluable in nurturing the vibrant tapestry of our faith community.
During this Easter season, let us draw strength from the love of our Risen Lord and the fellowship of our parish family. May His light guide us, His grace sustain us, and His peace dwell within us always.
Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyous Easter filled with the abundant blessings of faith, hope, and love.
In Christ’s service,
Fr. Michal Sajnog
