Last Saturday, we had the joy of welcoming sodality councils from around the area to St. Benedict the Moor Parish for their reunion. The day began with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 9:30 am, followed by a beautiful celebration of the Holy Mass, presided by our own pastor, Fr. Michal Sajnog, and concelebrated by the esteemed Msgr. Raymond East. We were truly honored by Msgr. East’s presence, adding a special blessing to the day.

This gathering held particular significance as it fell on the memorial of all the faithful departed. In remembrance, we took time after Mass to read the names of the sodalists who passed away over the last year. It was a moving tribute to their dedication and faith, and a reminder of their lasting presence in our hearts.

After Mass, the festivities moved to the Imperial Room, where sodalists attended to their usual business and enjoyed fellowship over a delicious meal. The atmosphere was warm and joyful as everyone relished the chance to reconnect and share in each other’s company.

On behalf of St. Benedict the Moor Parish, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the Sodality councils for joining us and making this day so special. We look forward to welcoming you back for more gatherings filled with faith, friendship, and celebration.
