We are happy to share that the installation of the new HVAC system in the Quander Room has been successfully completed.
As many of you may recall, the previous system was very inefficient and struggled to provide consistent heating or cooling. The heating relied on an electric system that was intended only for emergency use and was not suitable for regular operation.
The Quander Room is now served by a brand-new 7-ton HVAC unit, designed to ensure long-term reliability and high efficiency. The new system uses an electric air-conditioning unit for cooling and a gas-powered system for heating. In addition, the ductwork has been redesigned to improve airflow from both the ceiling and floor areas.
These upgrades provide dependable, year-round comfort while also improving energy efficiency, which will help lower operating costs for the parish.
